Message from
RCOG President

As President of the RCOG, it is a huge privilege to work so closely with the All India Coordinating Committee (AICC) and its Zonal Committees, which are so important to our College's engagement in India.

India holds a special place for me personally, and within the RCOG community, representing around 10% of our global membership, with almost 1,900 Members and Fellows, making it the College's largest communities outside the UK.

For more than four decades, the AICC has played a vital role in supporting RCOG Members and Fellows across India and in strengthening our longstanding partnership with FOGSI. I am immensely proud of the commitment shown by our Indian Fellows and Members who, alongside their clinical and academic responsibilities, volunteer their time as examiners, educators, course faculty, organisers and ambassadors for the College.

Through their dedication, expertise and leadership, they help advance education, professional development and, ultimately, improve women's healthcare. On behalf of the College, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for everything you do.

Now six months into my Presidency, I have been focusing on three key pillars that will guide my work over the coming years:

  • Supporting our doctors

  • Modernisation and innovation  in O&G

  • Collaboration and building partnerships

These priorities are closely aligned with our collective ambition to improve the health of women, and to strengthen our profession for the future.

Collaboration, in particular, lies at the heart of everything we do, and I am keen to continue building even stronger partnerships between RCOG, AICC and FOGSI.

By working together as a global community of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, I am confident that we can share knowledge, drive innovation and find solutions to the most pressing challenges facing women's healthcare today.

With my sincere gratitude to all our members and fellows for their hard work, I look forward to continuing the collaboration with you, to further strengthen the bonds between our organisations, as we deliver our shared vision of improving women's health in India, the UK and across the world.

Message from the
AICC RCOG Chairperson

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the AICC RCOG Website. India has the largest number of members and fellows of the RCOG outside of the UK. AICC with its zonal committees coordinate all the activities within India and serves as a representative of the college in India and of the members and fellows in India to the College.

There are a host of activities that our members and fellows are engaged in including examination, exam courses, MTI selection, CMEs workshops and conferences as well as community awareness and engagement. This website will serve as a means of accessing information of these varied activities and the zonal newsletters. There is a link to the zonal websites as well as an opportunity to express interest to be a part of the activities. We intended to develop an information and engagement page for the public as well.

Looking forward to seeing this space grow and will value your feedback.
